12 Dec - Annual Meeting and Election of Officers

The London Center of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada meets on the SECOND FRIDAY of each month except during the summer months. The annual picnic is held on Saturday.

Through iihe courtesy of Mr.E.E.Reid the meetings are held in his conference room in the LONDON LIFE BUILDING, corner of Duffierin Avenue and Wellington St. (Enter from Wellington Street.)

The meetings begin promptly at eight o'clock in order to afford time for observation whenever the weather permiits. When observation is impossible the sky for the current month will he discussed. Members are advised to bring to each meeting a Star Guide, flash light, and the Handbook. Field glasses are useful for observation.

Anyone interested in astronomy may attend any meeting on the invitation of a member. Those wishing to join the society should communicate with the president, Prof. H.R.Kingston of The University of Western Ontario.
